They are good photos, aren't they? I think they used the same technique,
whatever it was, on the cat/dog neuter/spay stamps, if you've seen those,
with the picture on a black background.
While we're on bats, I have a question on bat houses. I think I missed the
optimum time for putting my bat house up (I've read they should be up by
April?), and now I'm afraid if I put it up the wasps or hornets will find it
an attractive nestbuilding spot and once that happens the bats won't even
consider it (happens to my birdboxes sometimes). Or will they? I finally
figured out a spot to put it, but 12-15' up is not easy to keep an eye on,
let alone clean out unwanted residents. Should I put it up now anyway? I
know we have bats in the area; don't know what kind.
Thanks,
Libby

Cathy,
You're the bat-person right? I just got these neet Night Friends -
American Bats stamps at the PO yesterday. You probably already knew
about them, but I just had to remark about the terrific photos they used
on them. Hey, if I have to pay 37 cents, I want a stamp that I can enjoy
sending! Besides, they were out of Cary Grant.
