Rich, I haven't gotten there yet but always do.  I do believe they will root 
if stuck directly in the soil as Kitty suggested.  I have never had them 
reseed, however.
    Having been gone for a week and much rain, my garden is sooo dense.  The 
digitalis are stunningly tall and beautiful.
