Re: CHAT: Hello!
Hi Dakota,
Well, you've come to the right place either way. I have 5 cats, all males, 4
were most likely pets for a time before being dumped and following the
catnip trail to my back door. The 5th, BraveHeart, I believe was feral, but
he seemed to have taken Mick under his wing as they arrived together. Mick
came in within a few days, but it took me 2 yrs of feeding BH in my Florida
room to win him over and get him to try the indoor/outdoor lifestyle.
I gather your rescued cats now remain just indoors or you wouldn't have
these problems so much with bunnies.
Hort.net hosts many gardening lists with specific topics. Chris Lindsey who
runs it sort of "rescued" our email chat group when AHS dumped us. Ours is
a chat group for gardeners but without a specific topic like perennials or
conifers. So, pretty much anything goes. Most of us have pets of some
sort, quite a few have cats, so that topic does come up on occasion because,
well, as Beverly Nichols said, "A garden without cats can scarcely deserve
to be called a garden at all. "
Hope your recovery is swift and you're back out in the garden soon.
Kitty, neIN, Zone 5
