RE: Re: My life has turned into the movie
Andrea, Bill and I had a dachshund/German shepherd mix (no, I don't know how
that happened) that one morning (4:00 a.m. or so) presented me with a juicy
dead rat at the back door! Mice I'd dealt with, but this was the first rat.
I woke the neighborhood as well as Bill, who was smart enough to praise the
dog. I never saw another rat around the property as long as the dog lived.
(I think he knew it was good to catch them, but not drop them on my foot
again. LOL!!!)
If you go the rat terrier method, remember to praise him/her when a rat has
been "neutralized."

A rat terrier would do the trick I bet, maybe you can find one at the
pound, save some $$?? Because that would be an ongoing control versus a
one-time shot from an exterminator.
