I thought maybe Peaceful Valley would have them, but no.

I could swear I've seen it in their catalogs before. And I find them
quite reasonable.

I am disturbing them by mowing. Another reason, I dislike lawns. Found a
document "IPM for Schools" that says that the vibrations from mowers and
athletic events can cause them to attack. Also, advised loggers and mowers
to use clothing and veils used for bee work. That is one thing I wanted to
know...could that clothing protect me...didn't know if stingers were longer
on yellow jackets and so could penetrate bee protection clothing. So, I am
now looking for a good but reasonably priced source.

Why are they stinging you? Are you attacking their nest?
Most times, if you leave them alone, they leave you alone. I have tons
of bees, wasps and hornets that live here and only get stung when I
actually grab one of them... Ouch!

Has anyone found a way to discourage yellow jackets. I needed to mowback area of my property this afternoon and got stung again. This willI
be the third nest I will have to kill this summer on an acre and 3/4.collectingput up the traps and seemed to have gotten some pretty large ones so thought I caught several queens. Right now the traps are notmuch although they have fairly new attractants.to
Do any of you know if the bee equipment might be strong enough to useprotect me? I don't know if their stingers are longer, etc.
