Well...now I'm not even sure if it is a Canadian Goose. I looked up
photos of Canadian goslings and they have dark beaks and feet. This one
has an orange beak and feet. And it's down is white. The down on the
Canadians was kind of smokey colored. So...now what? I guess I just wait
to see what it turns into. Such an odd thing to find a rather large baby
gosling with no clue what it is. We went back to see if there were
others and we didn't see any. We asked all the neighbors if maybe they
had some baby geese, possibly one missing and they all said no. It's a
mystery.
