I have that option with my Olympus too. I think it is more with the computer program that I am using... windows xp.
There is a tiny box to check if you want to delete after it downloads the picture.

now... hum, didn't know that.
Yes, I think most major retailers are doing that now. I know about WalMart
and Meijers; I'm sure Winn Dixie, KMart, and others are probably doing it
too. I haven't tried it yet. Check out:

Very easy.  Today you just email the files (from
your hardrive) to WalMart
and then go pick them up an hour later - and you can
have WM make the CD for
you.
