Re: Jesse's duck/goose pix online?

Well, you can count on the fact that what they would do to animals they would also do to other people. There is something wrong with their wiring IMHO.

You have to wonder where they learn such cruelty.

Jesse, there was an article in the Des Moines paper yesterday about a
days
old trumpeter swan (Fred) that was nearly stoned to death but expected to
return to his nest next week. 3 of Fred's 5 siblings were not so lucky.
Stones
thrown by vandals killed 3 of the cygnet's siblings & nearly killed Fred.
Teenagers were seen lobbing stones at Fred's nest. Fred & his 5 siblings
followed
their parents into the water for protection. 2 of the young swans drowned
as
they were unable to swim for long periods because their feathers were not
yet
waterproof. 2 cygnets were found floating lifelessly in the lake. Fred
was on
the nest unresponsive next to a sibling who died a few hrs later. He was
treated with heating pads & intravenous protein. A $2000 reward is
offered for
information leading to an arrest. The picture of Fred looks like your
first
photo.
