Re: Kitten

The needle doesn't bother him. It's just his ears. It's impossible for one person to deal with his ears.

Hmm. Somehow I was thinking that vet stuff was harder with cats. My dogs just turn their heads when the needle goes in, never fuss, claw, bite or anything.

Poor Slugger. I wonder if he thought he won?

Oh geez, the vet trip this morning was a fiasco!
I took Slugger to get his Program shot (6month flea treatment) and to have his ears cleaned. My regular vet was away and a woman subbed for him. They wrapped him tightly and it still took 3 people to hold him down. Then he pooped and got it everywhere and they had to bathe him. The poor little guy is so worn out now, he walked into the house and just laid down.

The sub vet thought he must have mites so checked, but no, just wax. She said she understood why I couldn't clean his ears by myself. Very nice woman. I apologized profusely for the trouble and mess, but she seemed fine with it - all in a day's work. Very nice woman.
