Re: weeping redbud tree
hum.... mother has had a redbud in her front yard for 7 years. To date, I have never seen a seed let alone a seedling.

You could just let it seed itself; redbuds are notorious for this. I'm
always pulling out redbud seedlings. Flat is normal. If you do try growing
from seed, you most likely will not have the weeping trait.
