Re: Rhododendron question

No, I saw hardly any bud set last season, and those few seem to have dropped. There aren't any even near the top of the plants, around ten to twelve feet. I have seen does stand on hind legs to lick seed out of a bird feeder, but I'm sure they couldn't reach this high.

I don't grow them, but is it possible the deer ate all the buds?
