Well I doubt I would stand there and yell at the person, but I do think
I would let them know I wasn't happy, I expected what I contracted for,
and want to know what options there are to fix the problem. Depending on
the options, would depend on what I said next. But I definately wouldn't
just say, ok, fine and pay the bill....

It's really hard to bring yourself to insist, especially if you like the
person you're dealing with, I have walked away many times myself. I
think I've seen my husband complain exactly once. If I'm unhappy I ask
myself if I have gotten what I've paid for and have I been treated
politely, and if I complain I am always polite myself, but still it is a
difficult thing for most of us (which is why businesses get away with
the kind of things they do).
