When I blew a hard drive on my old PC, geekman managed to save all the
data files, so I didn't lose very much except my patience. He also
installed a new hard drive and upgraded it to a kazillion gigabytes
for a whole lot less than the cost of a new computer.

 We can get a pretty good deal on new computers here through work, but

brother is in Charleston at the moment.  Don't know how long he will

there (he's spending a year on his boat sailing around).

Pam-just talked to the dudes at Best Buy-my computer has totally
crashed and
the hard drive is dead. I can't afford a new one right now, and am
debating
even getting the old one fixed since it's 4-5 years old anyway. So,
can you
tell everyone that I miss them but it may be a while before I can
get back
on the list. Very upsetting! I may go ahead and get the old thing
fixed
anyway but not sure.
