She may want to check with a second place. A friend of mine was told the same thing, and then a friend who is computer knowledgable fixed it within minutes... and now he computer works fine..

  We can get a pretty good deal on new computers here through work, but
don't know how I would get it to you.  Have you met David yet?   BTW  my
brother is in Charleston at the moment.  Don't know how long he will be
there (he's spending a year on his boat sailing around).

Pam-just talked to the dudes at Best Buy-my computer has totally crashed and
the hard drive is dead. I can't afford a new one right now, and am debating
even getting the old one fixed since it's 4-5 years old anyway. So, can you
tell everyone that I miss them but it may be a while before I can get back
on the list. Very upsetting! I may go ahead and get the old thing fixed
anyway but not sure.
