Re: OT - Andrea's Home Computer

She doesn't have a floppy or cd in any of the drives does she? My boss
father was told the same thing and bought another computer. He then
brought it to me to see if I could get any of the old info off... found
the cd in the drive (some will let you boot, others don't), took it out
and it works just fine now.

   
I personally would open it up and make sure all the connections inside
are pushed in properly. She just moved and something might have gotten
loose with all the jogging around. Just a thought. oops- remind her to
be careful with electric static tho!
