I gave the fight of housecleaning back in Januaryish. Between mom and work,
there just wasn't enough time to keep both houses clean. I have a very nice
lady come in once a week... one week she does mom's house, the next mine. I
really thought I would have so much extra time but somehow I don't. I also
realised it takes longer to get everything straightened up and put away than
it actually takes to dust and do the floors.....

What was that saying we used to quote - Gardening forever! Housework
whenever.
I must admit that every two weeks I pay a nice woman more per/hour to do the
heavy cleaning in my house than I earn per/hour as an indexer. However, I
tell
myself I'd far rather do what I do, and I wouldn't do what she does for
even more
money.

And I hope to get that removed this fall. OK, how does this rate? - I
don't
think my car has been washed for well over a year. We get a pretty good
amount of rain here.
