Sad indeed. There was a time when I sent "treasures" to her grandson Brandon [I think that was his name], fossils mostly and, as I recall, a sago palm; I wonder how he's surviving.

I can't believe our darling pal Bonnie is gone. I got this email from her hubby Bill today. I know that most of you know what a charming, giving, exceptionally kind and loving woman she was. God rest hermost gracious soul. She is so missed..... R.I.P. Bonnie Morgan. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Bonnie & Bill Morgan <wmorgan972@ameritech.net> Date: Jun 15, 2010 6:00 AM Subject: Bad News To: gardenqueen@gmail.com Hi Pam,Bonnie passed away sometime between Midnight and 1 am on Sunday, June 13th. She had come home early on Friday with what appeared to be flu like symptoms of 102.5 temp. I took her to the doctor on Saturday morning early and by that time she had a low grade temp and sharp pain in her left ear. Thedoctor said she had a bacterial infection in the sinuses, prescribedantibiotic, pain pills and ear drops for pain. He also gave her a shot for pain. I brought her home and by that time she was drowsy from the shot andshe when to bed.I went out and filled her prescriptions. When I returned I woke her and gave her the antibiotic. She slept the remainder of the morning and through lunch. At dinner time she was still sleeping and I didnt disturb her. She woke up around 8:30 and I gave her two of the pain pills. A little later I put the drops in her ear and we went to bed. That is the last I spoke toher. She was the love of my life for more than 40 years and I still have not come to terms not having her near. Bonnie considered you to be a very dear friend you brightened her life and I am grateful to you for your friendshipBlessings, Bill -- Pam Evans Kemp TX zone 8A --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHAT--------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHAT
