I am so glad to hear from all of you.  I was so glad to hear that Gene Bush is getting

two feet tall, has heart-shaped slightly fuzzy leaves, and small bright yellow flowers. 
Some of my garden-club members sneer at it, but I love it, and the deer don't.  I just
wish I could think of it's name - but that's old age I guess.
 
Speaking of old age, Chet is planning a big bash to celebrate his 90th birthday.  The
actual date was in March, but he says that if Queen Elizabeth can celebrate hers on
whatever date suits her, he can do the same, so he picked a time when all three of
our sons can get there.  He has reserved space at Teatown Nature Center where he
spent many happy years on the board, and sent out invitations to more than 80 people.
Not my idea, but he's having a great time planing it.
