interesting, marge. that's generally the king of treatment this one got, too. [i read somewhere that they also like to be root bound, but that didn't make any sense to me; how would they ever bloom in the wild?] they are part of the amaryllis clan and dry cool is the kind of treatment amaryllis seem to prefer--at least here where they are planted and ignored only to thrive and multiply.
