Re: Hello/now vegetables


Well Mr. Island, I can tell you didn't have to sit at the dinner table while all your siblings were playing until you finished the so-called veggies on your plate. I would be there for hours while the typically over cooked, unrecognizable globs turned stone cold. Then I would try and choke them down because the dog wouldn't even eat them as I tried to feed him under the table. "Suffering succotash" always had a deep meaning for me.

Try adding some sauce (cheese or hollandaise) that is what I do for the
picky folks that come here.

And yes, I like all veggies..including lima beans...
