Welcome!
If you haven't seen a smoke tree, try to find one before you buy. They are
interesting looking, but I would rather have something like the redbud or
crab apple. Think of what it will look like during all seasons. If you can
find something with good bark/twig interest for winter, flowers, foliage &
fall color, so much better. If you want the purple foliage next to your
house, look at all the possibilities, not just the first recommendation.
Most of all find something you like.
