I just keep mine in 20" (I think) terra-cotta pots. The mint comes back
every spring. After all the talk about yall's iris reticulata I remembered to
look for mine today. It's not blooming yet, but there are lots of fat buds! The
flowering quince and the bridal wreath spirea are blooming now. It's better
than Christmas! Like there are new presents every day. Oh, if anybody wants
lemon balm, I have enough to supply the planet!
