Isn't perlite manufactored from asbestos mining?

Is that the shredded or compressed paper? My cats have used it a couple of
times. Did not like it. One thing I found I really did not like are those
white crystals.

I've never used it, but I think they'll use anything. They have never
minded pooping in my flower pots when given a chance. I use Feline Pine
in
my 9 littler boxes, and I like it the best. It can go into your compost
bin
after the solids have been removed, and it's relatively weightless
compared
with anything else I've used.
