I can tell you that when I take a picture of my flowers I always take with the wide angle lens and then get as close to the flower as possible. It seems to give the picture a dream quality, a sort of softness that the other lenses don't.

Oh- you bought a macro lens.... I got it now....wait a minute... that
doesn't sound right.. to infinity... every lens has limits....
But Kitty is right, most times wide-angle and fish eye are the same lens...

There is a fish-eye lens available for my camera. Can't figure out why I'd want one. Avocado blooms are small--about the size of a shirt button, max. 0.8" means, essentially, you can get that close [0.8"] and still be in focus. Camera shoots 8,000 pixels per inch; doesn't matter whether you're 0.8" or infinity feet from the object.
