Sam's has huge containers of all kinds of spices, and I'm sure they are a lot cheaper than Penzey's. Check out Sam's online. Costco probably has spices in bulk, too.

In an orchid presentation at H&G show yesterday, she showed that she uses
cinnamon on all cuts as a fungicide. Regular old kitchen spice. God knows
where she got a quart container of it.

Hmm- what kind of fungicide? Theresa james singer wrote:Probably ought to be 8-10 inches long. It's going to bleed; I dunk them in rootone to stop the bleeding and cover the wound with fungicide. They're pretty indestructible, however. Feeling pretty good this week so I am organizing to get ready for spring plantings. I am going to add some Cannas this year, already ordered a couple. :) Thanks Holli LI,NY In a message dated 3/2/2006 6:50:08 A.M.
