It's underground. Nothing shows between the house and the road except the end of the 4-6" pipe

?? How close are these houses to the street? Even in my addition with a
small lot, the set back rules would make a downspout leading to the
street look utterly ridiculous, not to mention dangerous. Or is this
done underground somehow? I'm having trouble picturing this.
