I'm in zone 8. I bought the one I had at Home Depot, don't even know what
kind it was. Something common I'm sure. I bought a couple variegated ones
from there as well. They die back in the winter too but leaf out again from
the base, and I don't care that much if they bloom tho it'd be nice.
I'm sure if I researched what was out there more carefully I'd find
something that would do well. The Home Depot ones were impulse buys, and you
know how that goes.

Cyndi, what zone are you in? I have several Oakleaf Hydrangeas that have
done beautifully in Zone 7.
