Hi Cathy,

   One neat trick (something I was actually able to teach Dan Hinkley!)
   is to grow W. macrostachya together with W. floribunda.  Since 
   the former flowers about two weeks later than the latter, you can
   extend your blooming season by letting the two intertwine.  :)
