That's probably a good decision, Jim. I've found cats to be incredibly intuitive.

Subject: [CHAT] Cat story
Squinty is a very friendly little cat. She's also very protective--as the time she wanted me to know there was a strange person [meter reader] in our yard. But she usually makes up to everyone--even the meter reader after I went outside and saw him.
We're thinking about replacing the kitchen counter and sink. Last evening we had a contractor come in to give us a bid. Squinty took one look at him and hid behind a basket in the living room. Every now and then she would peek out, but she didn't come out from behind the basket until he left.
Guess he won't get the job.
