Me, too, Andrea. I always take Brooke, my 12-year-old granddaughter. She has the most awesome outlook on the circle of life. We make a big deal about the "closing of the circle" and the pet's crossing the bridge to a new life on the other side. It's typically very pagan and uplifting. While I am always sad, I am reassured that I have done the very best I could in providing a good and comfortable life to a beloved companion.

Hugs fom me too. I can't stand the thought of losing any living thing. Ihad to put a dog down once and I haven't gotten over the heartache. That wasprobably 16 years ago. You can get thought it, but it won't be easy. Do you have a friend that can go with you?
