Re: DST- bunk

We're relatively new to DST here; this'll be our 2nd or 3rd year of it. Yes, in June at the solstice it's light out until nearly 10. Remember - IN is west of Ohio but same eastern time zone, so we get the latest light. You think you'll putz around for a bit in the yard after work. It's still light out and you suddenly realize, good grief!, it's nearly time for bed!

I went to Ohio once for a week in, mmmm, May or June I think and it was
light out past 9:00. I thought WOW what a lot of gardening I could get
done! It was very strange for this California native.

I guess it depends on how far north you are-  When I was in Maine, you
certainly didn't need DST.  In summer it was sunny from 4am til 10 pm.
I am happy that it is now daylight after 5pm here : )
