It doesn't feel like spring here today, but March is always up and down, April too. Only crocus open, maybe a hellebore, but too cold right now to go back there to check.

Maybe it is the equinox that's the prod--how would I know--but I was walking around the plantation today showing various trees and such to a guest, and discovered at least five of the "rescue" orchids are blooming. Also found two more tillandsias than I thought I had, but none of them are in bloom.Island Jim Southwest Florida 27.1 N, 82.4 W Hardiness Zone 10 Heat Zone 10 Sunset Zone 25 Minimum 30 F [-1 C] Maximum 100 F [38 C] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHAT -- No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG.
