How about pelagorniums...uh geraniums! Virtually indestructable. I think my spelling is really taking a southward turn.

Good lord! Can she bring me a truckload? (wishful thinking)- I've got to figure out something to plant on a slope at my father's new house that can live in crappy soil, will get absolutely no care (e.g. drought resistant)and that the jack rabbits won't devour instantly. I'd love to do daylilies, but thought they'd make a nice lunch for the rabbits. But, sedum's not a bad idea... Thanks for getting me to thinking. So I arranged for her to drop them off and we would pot some for sale and plant others on the grounds. Well, she kept 100 divisions to replant and brought us a truckload. Then asked if we could take 4 more truckloads! We potted and planted for a few hours this morning and will take a second truckload. The price was right for durable plants we can put out where we don't spend a lot of maintenance time. She didn't have a name for this sedum, just said it had lavender blooms. When they bloom this year I'll try to see if I can identify it.
