Don't think butterfly weed would stand the wet. By the way, anyone have hints as to how to get it to survive more than a growing season? My swamp milkweed does great, and self seeds, butterfly weed wimps out after one year. (Yes, they are planted in entirely different areas!)

How about some butterfly weed? That is orange and has wildlife value.... Does that grow there Theresa?

yes there are dwarf cannas. I think I saw some in the Brent's and Becky's bulb catalog, will have to look when I get home.
