RE: Tree peonies revisited


Mine get good morning sun but afternoon high shade.  These will be my
first blooms - should be a yellow and a lavender, but I got them at a
last ditch nursery sale and there was really no info on them.
Originally had three but one was really in poor condition and did not
make it thru the winter.  However, the herbaceous root stock lived and I
just let the foliage grow on this spring to see what I might find.  The
peony bloomed last week - a lovely single of a pale pink shade. Charming
- I think I'll hold onto it!

Young age and maybe your placement too.  My older one is on the south in
full sun.  Unfortunately, when we get hot days like today's 80s, they
don't last long.  I'll see about taking pics.  What colors are yours?
