Re: Tree peonies revisited

Hi Kitty,
An expert I ain't. My tree peonie (it's second year) has suckered around
the original "trunk". The suckers look like just regular peonies, the trunk
portion has some leaves and a couple of buds that are about 3 times the size
of regular peonies, and are sorta pointed. Should I remove the suckers,
leave them alone or what? As you might have guessed, I'm somewhat of a
novice here. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
