Mine are in a shady, woodland setting on a north slope with lots of oak
leaves. Even with the recent lack of water...although I am watering that
garden...mine are doing well. I'll try to get some to you next week and
will save seeds...you can try both methods.
I currently have columbine, verbena, butterfly weed and poppies. My
peonies are just about gone...oak leaf hydrangea coming out.
