Kitty: Don't know if this was answered already or not...but here is what
I know. Hops are what is used in beer brewing. This particular variety
is known as a bittering hop...used in one of the first stages of
brewing. I have a friend who grows hops and they are an attractive,
flowering vine...but they get big...like 10-12 feet some of them.

The Hort Ed handed me a tuber in a baggie with a label wrapped around it
and
said he wanted me to start it. The label had the instructions
which I tore
trying to flatten it out. Here's what I can make
out:

HP2 Hop Rhizome - NUGGET
Plant w/the buds pointing up. 1

watered.

Anyone care to elaborate?

Kitty
neIN,
