Re: rose help please
I've heard lots of good things about High Country Roses. One of the reasons
we buy from Sam Kedem is because he is in zone 3 or 4. (Not sure where HCR
is) It appears to be a small business; Sam himself answers the phone. He
doesn't just take the order, he tells you up front to take which size of a
paricular rose because he knows which of his stock are in the best shape.
Now I just tell him to send me whatever he considers best.
One thing I did not like about HCG website was the poor layout. Maybe I
didn't spend enough time to figure it out, but I clicked on sorting by class
so I could look at climbers. Unfortunately that just took you to a page
that listed rose names by class - in paragraph form yet. You couldn't link
to the descriptions from there.
