Sounds wonderful!  I was told yellow are more difficult, but that's what I
want next.
When I bought the red one it was supposed to be lavender, but it was just a
piece of root when I got it; took 2 years for first bloom.  The lavender
hadno buds when I bought it containerized but it did bloom the next year -
maybe 2 or 3 buds, don't recall.  I think yours is right on track.  The one
thing I notice with young one is they are wriggly.  Mine needs staking so a
wind won't break them.  In a few years with some wood on them, they'll be
fine.
