Anyone ever taken the tour of garden chat lists on Yahoo? Scary. More than 800 of them. They seem to be arranged in descending order by number of members, For example, Plant Amnesty, a group that wants to curtail excessive pruning, is listed somewhere toward the middle of the list; it has 22 members. A fair number of them--I didn't keep count--are merchants offering expert advice on gardening questions. Yeah, sure.
