Forget who answered, but not too big. It really depends on what kind it is.
Some can get tall when they bloom, but then others are just weird and have
floppy stalks that then send out flowers. They will spread and are very
easily separated when you want to give away babies. 
Just keep the "cup" filled with water. or at least when it gets empty fill
it up again!
