I love it too... for the shape, color, texture, but here in dry Oklahoma it will take over the earth. I have put it around in some areas like the library and a park downtown though where it can take over.
I wonder why you don't have trouble with it. What zone are you? I even thought that if it had more water I would never find the end of it.

I'm surprised that you all don't seem to like ribbon grass. I love it. I
love the color, the shape and the way it looks by my pond. I have not yet
found it to be invasive though. Maybe it is more invasive in other areas of the
country.
