Re: weather

A storm blew theough here about 3 pm. Thunder and lightening, hard wind gusts & pouring rain for less than an hour. Inch of rain on my front porch. Daughter was driving though the lower part of town and water was up to the car windows! Sunshine at 5 pm. Cut myself a bouquet of iris that blew down and may cut some roses tomorrow if the branches don't lift once the water dries up.
Wish one of these strange storms would blow your way Pam. We needed the moisture, but not as much as you folks do.

Man I'm so jealous. The NE has had more rain the past week than we have had
all year. 15 months of drought is just way toooooo much.

Donna, please dry up! I will be in the Chicago area Mon-Thur with a
garden
tour group. We will stay in Naperville and visit the Botanical Center,
Mortons Arb, Orchid house, private gardens including Trudi Semple's (do
you know of
this garden?) , garden centers & a theatre. Where are you located from
Naperville?
