Re: Kitten Advice, please

Thanks for the good news.

Now all I have to do is find a big crate and a cat trap. We've got a largish dog crate someplace in the crawl space or shed, in addition to the small carrier, but the woman stressed that an open wire crate is better. If I could just get him inside it would help. It's nearly 90 outside, with humidity to match, and I can't stay out there long.

Sigh. This is tougher than I thought, and I just got an email from my Dad that he fell aboard ship, bruising himself pretty severely and injured his back, has caught something that's given him pretty severe lung congestion (the plane was cold and there were no blankets!) and knocked his digestive system out of whack. They're in Bulgaria on the Danube. He's 92. Please say a prayer/light a candle/think good thoughts for us.

That is exactly what I did when I first got Crookshanks. It took about two weeks, but he's been one of my most affectionate kitties since the first time he let me touch him. Good luck -- sounds like you are on the right track.
