Re: Amazon lily


Well, to start with, the blooms hang down, so I had to get sort of under it. To do that, I put the pot on the shelf of a 8-foot stepladder. At first, I had the stepladder on the front porch out of the sun, but the flowers picked up reflected color from the trim on the house, which is reddish purple.

So I moved the ladder into the patio to spot where the blooms were not in direct sun but not in much shade either. The camera with wide-angle lens did the rest.
