Bonnie, I also think white is the most difficult color to photograph, particularly with a digital camera. The saving grace is the various settings the camera has to cope with white and the quick download to the computer to see if one has keepers. I've always believed in the Life magazine theory of photography--shoot a few dozens rolls of film and one or two pictures will be passing good.
