The bark on my Vitex split because of the freeze, and I thought it was dead to the ground because it had started to come up from the roots. However, yesterday I did see some tiny green leaves on some of the limbs. I'll wait to see how much of it comes back before I do anything. My Clerodendrum trichotomum, on the other hand, seems as dead as a doornail. :o(

Don't give up hope.  My Natchez Crepe Myrtle has just begun to leaf again
and I found some tiny green buds two joints down from the burnt tips of my
fig.

Auralie, I lost all my Coreopsis even Moonbeam which has always been so
reliable.   Cream Brulee was my favorite.   Also all my Dianthus except
Baths Pink
and a Clematis.   My Vitex has not leafed out yet but I am still hoping.
