No, don't give up on the Crepe Myrtle. They are one of the last trees to leaf out even here. I always forget that and get in a panic when they don't break dormancy when everything else is. LOL!

and I found some tiny green buds two joints down from the burnt tips of my
fig.

Auralie, I lost all my Coreopsis even Moonbeam which has always been so
reliable.   Cream Brulee was my favorite.   Also all my Dianthus except

Baths Pink

and a Clematis.   My Vitex has not leafed out yet but I am still hoping.
