Re: phuopsis stylosa

I planted it last summer. This spring I gave it a good cutting to neaten it up and it responded by really filling out. I think cutting back after flowering, like candytuft, would keep it in shape.

Kitty,

I grew phuopsis stylosa for many years at the base of a rose bush in my pink and white garden. I enjoyed it, but it would get a bit messy. It tended to
wander and snake around plants, or grow up through others. When it wasn't
flowering, it looked kind of weedy. Sadly, I finally discarded it for
neater, less space consuming plants. Wish I had tried cutting it back,
that might have done the trick!

Good luck!
